As the weather is (finally!) turning colder at the SquirrelGard™ HQ, we started thinking about the winter season ahead of us. We think about things like turkey, football and…acorns.
“Why acorns?” you may ask. Well, according to weather forecasters, we should have a very cold winter. Some people may ask, “How can you tell?” Apparently is has to do with the abundance of acorns in our area. The oak trees are producing them in droves. Along with the colder weather, this also means more food for the squirrels come wintertime. More food for the squirrels means healthier mother squirrels. Healthier mother squirrels usually mean bigger litters of baby squirrels in the spring. (Some mothers can have as many as eight babies in a single litter!) And bigger litters of baby squirrels mean more squirrels chewing on your lead jacks!
As cute as baby squirrels can be, they are not worth damage to your home. Protect your home with SquirrelGard™ before all the new baby squirrels are old enough to eat all those acorns and start chewing on your lead plumbing jacks like their parents!
Speaking of eating, Nutter and the entire SquirrelGard™ team would like to wish you a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
